"What a blessing your home was for our family this year! We rent a place somewhere every Christmas that is large enough for our entire family to meet. I believe that God led me to you this year. He knew just what we needed. My dad, who is 76 is fighting bone cancer and we don't know what the future holds at this point. We wanted something that would be very comfortable for him and a place that we could create memories of one of the best Christmas's we have ever had. This home was perfect. Dad was able to put his feet up, relax, set by the fire and watch football for days. We also got to see an eagle up close. He flew right over the porch one morning while we were having breakfast and just stayed for a while. That was neat! Laura, I appreciate everything you and your husband did to make our visit so special. The Christmas tree was awesome and having access to the firewood was wonderful. We kept that fire going all the time. The house, the beds, the TABLE, the view, the animals, the old clothes, the pool table, the privacy, what a treat!! Thanks for the special memories"!!!! Dave and Laura, "Once again you have provided a beautiful and spacious home to use as a channel of blessing to everyone staying at your place. This particular lodge was roomy and cozy for all our family. The kids loved running around... and my oldest son was ecstatic about the terrain. He spent the entire vacation scavenging through the woods pretending to be a big game hunter. ( No deer were harmed in the process- his weapon was a pretend pump rifle with a tattered 'Bass Pro Shop' price tag across the back) :) My husband and I stayed in the suite with the screened in porch! LOVELY! The kids soon discovered our quaint hideout and it soon became the refuge of hide and seek games. Thanks again for providing us with first class accommodations. Dear Laura & David, "My family loved our visit at the Willow Oak Lodge. The home is so close to all of the attractions but such a peaceful getaway in the afternoon and evenings. The home is well stocked and the layout works out great for everyone getting ready at the same time. We loved the big table on the screened in porch for playing games.
